To be a successful agency your team must be good at pitching. It’s a big part of agency life; yet so many agencies suck at pitching, which costs time, money and morale. The most successful agencies invest in honing their pitch skills to improve their chances of success. After all, there’s only so many times you want to be told you “came a close second”. Read on to find out how you too could win more pitches.

This interactive course will give you the skills you need to win at pitching. The course builds throughout the day with preparation work to be completed in groups as you work towards delivering a short pitch at the end of the workshop.

- How to win a pitch – the criteria for success
- The BESTIE approach – introducing Behavioural Economics, Storytelling and Insights
- Delivery Service – pitch practice and critique

Anthony ‘Tas’ Tasgal
Tas is a Man of Many Lanyards.
He is an ad agency planner, trainer, lecturer, speaker and author and still freelances with several agencies and clients. For example, he’s currently helping the Royal Albert Hall tell their story ahead of their 150th anniversary and working with The Civil Service, Microsoft, and a large pharma company.
Tas is also a Course Director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Market Research Society, the Institute of Internal Communication and the Civil Service College, running courses on Storytelling, Behavioural Economics, Insightment and Creative Briefing amongst others. He has trained marketers in the UK, US, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden and UAE. Tas is also a full member of the CIM.

Andy Bargery
Andy is a seasoned agency professional and marketing consultant. He has accumulated more than 20 years of experience working in marketing, including spells at Pleon and Ketchum (Omnicom owned agencies) and founding Klaxon; his own marketing communications agency. Andy has worked across sectors during his career, and his past clients include Google, the EU, Vodafone, lastminute.com, Astra Zeneca, FedEx, Xerox, Oracle, Shell and a wide array of SMEs.
Andy is the host of the Through the Line podcast on which he talks to industry experts about the latest marketing trends and the business of marketing. He also teaches Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and delivers marketing apprenticeship training for some of the UK’s leading brands.
Andy is Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
